CHRISTUS VNA InPatient Center
CHRISTUS VNA's 10-bed acute care InPatient Center is designed to provide palliative care in a homelike setting. The InPatient center is available for hospice patients who have severe pain or symptoms that cannot be controlled at home. It is also a place where patients can stay for short periods of time to give the family a respite. Each patient has an individually decorated private room. However, families are encouraged to bring comforts from home to make the room familiar and homelike for the patient.
The InPatient Center offers around-the-clock nursing, seven days a week. Children and pets are welcome, and there are no set visiting hours so families can spend as much time together as needed.
Patients, families, and staff find it a very peaceful and loving place.
